KonTour is available only to OEM Motorcycle manufacturers and their dealer network under licensed agreement as an optional upgrade for their customers, or by custom order with our factory by individuals. KonTour is manufactured in the USA using ONLY 100% ISO or ASTM CERTIFIED COMPONENTS. We do not use components supplied by companies that cannot meet these stringent worldwide accepted quality standards.

HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER, DEPOSITS, PAYMENT, WARRANTY, ETC. When you order a seat we assign a definite production date and require a $50.00 nonrefundable deposit to hold this date. Full and final payment is due 7 days PRIOR to producing your custom seat. We accept personal checks, money orders or PayPal at KonTourSeat@cs.com only - sorry, the credit card companies kill us with their fees. It is your responsibility to have your UNDAMAGED and intact OEM seat delivered to us prior to the production date. We recommend sending your seats by UPS, DHL or Fed Ex. DO NOT send your seat "signature required" as it will dramatically delay production of your seat! We do not have time to interrupt production multiple times during the work day to sign for deliveries. Your seat is shipped to a secure location and your standard shipping receipt provides proof of delivery. We do not recommend using the postal service as their fees are high and service levels poor.
We DO NOT DO REPAIRS and any seat received in less than satisfactory condition or previously modified - in our sole and final opinion - will be returned to the customer at their cost, or assesed repair fees at our hourly shop rate plus materials. Often times these fees can far surpass the cost of our remanufacturing process.
Missed production dates due to no deposit, non receipt of seats on time or no final payment will forfeit the deposit and date and be re-scheduled only with full prepayment at the time of the new order. Normal turn around time is 5 business days, custom orders or large orders including accessories may take significantly longer. Express shipping and rush order status is available and surcharges will apply. We ship worldwide.
When we custom remanufacture your seat it is completely taken apart, measured, cut into pieces and rebuilt using a precise process of lamination using extremely strong adhesives which once bonded cannot be separated without destroying the entire seat, except by our factory trained technicians using special tools and techniques.
Due to this custom building process we DO NOT offer refunds, partial refunds, or replacement of the OEM seat that was initially sent for modification. If your remanufactured seat has a comfort issue that you feel we can correct with minor modifications, notify us and return your seat within 30 days of your purchase, with a DETAILED note and we will do our best to modify it to your liking. You must first contact us via E-mail for a Return Authorization Number before sending your seat. Seats sent without a return authorization number printed clearly on the box will not be accepted. Due to the exceptional quality of components used in our design we warranty our workmanship and materials for 5 years to the original owner with the exception of sun related damage. This warranty applies only to motorcycle models designed exclusively for highway use. "Dual purpose" motorcycle models are covered for a period of 2 years. There is no warranty for "dirt bikes", any motorcycle used in competitive racing events, for special order fabrics or designs deviating from the manufacturer's original OEM design. All warranty claims MUST be accompanied by an original receipt or copy. All specifications and prices subject to change.
