This seat on a 2007 BMW RT1200 was narrowed on the sides toward the nose to allow for a shorter rider. We removed all of the OEM foam on the sides (where it is not needed) and covered it with our perforated fabric and breathable mesh for increased airflow. The rider can now locate his feet almost two inches closer to centerline with his heels firmly on the ground, the same effect as lowering the seat one half inch without compromising ANY comfort. The airflow now cools the inside of his thighs as well as his butt! You can also see how well our fabric is color matched to BMW's OEM vinyl on the pillion - its a PERFECT match since we have it custom made to our exact specification - not mismatched and "off the shelf" like everyone else...
